Meet the Teachers
My name is Ms. Goudeau, but you can call me Ms. G! This will be my second year teaching and second year at Salem Elementary. I am a proud winner of the DIane Kent-Parker WCPSS First Year Teacher of the Year for Special Education. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Communication from North Carolina State University (Go Pack!) and ended up going back to school for my teaching license through an online program at Western Carolina University. I grew up in Apex, NC and actually attended Salem when it first opened! I have loved Salem since I was a child and love working here now. I currently live in Raleigh, NC with my dog, Beau. In my free time, I love cooking/baking, traveling, reading, and watching football (I’m all about NC State when it comes to NC, but I’m also a huge LSU and Saints fan). Oh and I LOVE everything and anything Disney!

I love working at Salem Elementary! Everyone is so friendly, knowledgeable and supportive. I adore the children in the CCK program. This is my 5th year in the CCK classroom and I look forward to working with your children. I feel blessed to work with such wonderful children and families.
I live in Cary with my husband, Paul, and a cat. I have 2 adult children, a son and a daughter. |
I am originally from Lynchburg VA where I attended Liberty University. After meeting my husband there we were married and moved to North Carolina in 2006. We now have two incredible kids who also attend Salem. I love coffee anytime of the day and long walks on the beach. Having worked in Pre-K Special Ed and General Ed previously, I’m excited to join the CCK team. Outside of school you can find me at the pool with family and friends, serving at my local church or snuggling under a blanket with our pug Piper.
